Co-Creator

In the course Medskaber (“Co-Creator”), we work with events. It might be a sing-along evening for our neighbors, a film screening for peace, a hike in support of the endangered pine marten – or a festival simply because it’s spring. 

We start from our own ideas and creativity and end up creating shared events and experiences together. Along the way, we move through the phases of project management: planning, involvement, fundraising applications, co-creation, communication, and budgeting.

In spring 2026, we’ll begin by planning and running the school’s upcoming caravan trip around Ringkøbing Fjord in April. We know where we’ll be sleeping, but beyond that, it’s up to us to create unforgettable memories – for ourselves and for others – throughout the whole journey around the fjord. 

And then Vestival, the folk high school’s festival, might be brought back to life with the Spring students 2026’s unique stamp. 

Should we complement concerts with political debates? Host a poetry slam or a DJ workshop? Everyone can join in – experienced planners and brand-new project makers alike. Only imagination sets the limits.
