Meet the world
Meet the World is a course about climate, culture, and politics.
In the course Meet the World, we explore both the small and the vast worlds around us. We dive into subjects such as agriculture, asylum, nationalism, nature, and the ways people organise their lives.
We might step into a conventional pig farm to meet a local farmer. We might visit the deportation centre at Kærshovedgård to talk with rejected asylum seekers. Or we might spend time on small, hand-driven farms with young people who have moved to the countryside and are building new forms of collective life.
In other words: we seek out both the locals and the visionaries; those who struggle and organise, those who challenge easy answers, and those who don’t just talk about change but are already living it.
When we’re not out on the road, we turn to global questions in the classroom. That could mean exploring climate, migration, and gender – or diving deep into specific issues unfolding in other corners of the world.
