Earth – Human – Healing
Can we change something in our world through art? We explore this question through talks, experiments and hands-on artistic practice, creating engaging and personal works that reflect on what it means to be human.
Drawing on your own thoughts and perspectives, we explore how art can influence our surroundings and become a healing presence in communities, for example. Can we use art to make a difference to the world around us?
We work with painting, drawing, installation art – and perhaps performance art – and delve into the diverse toolbox of contemporary art. Along the way, short art history talks introduce us to the artists whose shoulders we stand on and breathe life into our own ideas.
We take art outdoors and create works amid the autumn darkness and the powerful forces of nature. We let them in and explore whether we can tame them – or let them embrace us.
You have room to express yourself in a supportive environment, where we focus on creating, being original and having fun. We work on different tasks within a shared theme, so there is something for everyone. You can work freely with your own ideas or receive more guidance if you need it.
