Painting class exposes students to acrylic, oil paint, oil stick, oil crayon and brush, airbrush, angle grinder and wood paint, drawing on clay, linoleum press and monotype.  In painting, we seek inspiration in many unusual places: at sea and in the garden, in newspapers and movies, in music and cartoons, on iron castings and scrap sites. All of this contributes to the background of the image.

The teaching is a mix of concrete knowledge of materials and techniques, but also a continuous review of the works of other artists. These are essential tools for understanding different artistic expressions.

There will be opportunities for museum visits and trips to the distinctive West Jutland nature. During these trips, students are challenged with the art of the travel sketch.
