World Dance

There is action and a lot of fun when we try dances from Africa, Cuba, and Brazil, such as afro, reggaeton, Afro-Cuban, samba reggae, salsa, and hip-hop.  

We deeply explore both dance styles and bodywork techniques. You will physically experience the difference between different dances. World Dance allows you to become more aware of the individual characteristics of dance styles.

We will try the traditional ritual forms of each dance and then create fusion pieces choreographed for performances. We often mix various dances with a bit of funk and have a blast letting loose to some groovy music.

It's always a party in world dance!
