FUSION KITCHEN
At Vestjyllands Højskole we have great intentions with our food. At meal times you will be able to explore a variety of aromas, taste sensations and colours characteristic for the modern art of gastronomy.
The base ingredients used in our kitchen are ecological. The products of the season are reflected in the meals provided – nutritional vegetables which are coarse in the winter and light in the summer. Most of our products are Danish, however the kitchen uses a mixture of spices and preparation methods inspired from distant places around the world.
The meats are supplied from farms where the cows, pigs, lambs and goats have had a high standard of living, flavouring the taste of the meat. At least once a week we serve a meal of fish. The fish have gambolled in the North Sea or in Ringkøbing Fjord, and are purchased at the local fishery auction in Hvide Sande.
