We are situated in western part of Denmark - Jutland just next the Ringkøbing fjord and the North Sea. How do you get to Vestjyllands Højskole? If you come by public transport you can go by bus or train. Take the bus/train from Århus or Herning or Esbjerg to Ringkøbing. From Ringkøbing you can take a taxi or maybe you are lucky and will be picked up by our own bus. When is the study trip to Cuba? The trip to Cuba is two weeks, and is in June. How much does a stay at Vestjyllands Højskole cost? A stay at Vestjyllands Højskole costs DKK 1075 a week, corresponding to DKK 4300 (Euro 580) a month, including accommodation in a doubbleroom, meals, teaching and all the rest! Young people from new EU-members states can apply for subsidy from Serius - the Danish aid. Normally the subsidy is Euro 320 per month. Please contact Vestjyllands Højskole for further information. How does the weekly schedule looks like? See the weekly schedule here. You need at least 28 lessons a week. 7 of these lessons are obligatory, so you can choose 21 lessons from our wide range of subjects. What are the main subjects? Our main subjects are dance, musik, singing, theatre, writer, cooking class, ecology class, ceramics and painting. The main subjects are at least 6 lessons a week. Beside of the main subjects you can choose subjects that fit to your main subject so you can end up dancing, singing or playing music 18 lessons a week.
